Who can apply to QSLP?
This program is dedicated for fresh graduates, either holding a Bachelor or Master degree. For trainees holding a Bachelor degree, the minimum GPA is 3.5 or equivalents.
What are the equivalent degrees required for Graduates from UK universities?
Graduates from UK should have a minimum of 2.1 upper second-class honors.
In which fields should my degree be in to be considered as a candidate for the QSLP program?
A Bachelor or Master degree in any field related to science, engineering, clinical, business, marketing, international relation, communication and management will be considered by the QSLP committee.
What are the entry levels for each track?
For the Research Management track, there are two entry levels depending on the background and qualification of each candidate. Research Analyst I is for applicants holding a bachelor’s degree and Research Analyst II is for candidates Master’s degrees.
For the Research Scientist track, there are also two entry levels depending on the qualification of the candidate. Research Assistant I is for applicants holding a bachelor’s degree. Research Assistant II is for candidates with a master’s degree.
Is there a certificate awarded for the management track trainees upon completion?Yes. At the completion of the Qatar Science Leadership Program, each research analyst receives a professional certificate in the practice of research management that is awarded by Qatar Foundation
Is there a certificate awarded for the scientists track trainees upon completion?Yes. At the completion of the scientist track of Qatar Science Leadership Program, each trainee will be awarded post graduate certificate, either master degree or PHD, from internationally recognized university.
How can I apply?
Online applications are available on our website http://www.qf-researchdivision.org/qslp/apply_online.php attach it with a Letter of Interest, CV/ Resume and the Highest Degree Certificate or Latest Transcript.
When should I apply?
Applications are accepted between February 1 and May 15 each year. Applications received after May 15 will be considered for the next training year. The training program itself begins during September of the application year.
When will I hear back from the QSLP committee after completing the application?
The results and feedback will be all announced no later than July 15.
What Happens when I complete my training period in either track?
A permanent position is guaranteed upon successful completion of the training period in Qatar Foundation or its partner centers.
